Can you tell us how we can change the path for the location of the record and playback files for DataLoader Professional on Unix?

 

Answer

 

You can change the location of record and playback files by setting the following environment variables to the directory where you want to store record and playback files

For Oracle Apps 11.5.10

$FORMS60_TRACE_PATH

 

For Oracle Apps 12i

$FORMS_TRACE_DIR

 

These variables are usually defined in Applications Context files. You can edit the context file using Auto Config editor. After you have changed these variables you need to run Auto Config tool and restart Forms Server.

The directory which you set should have proper read and write permissions.
