Setup Oracle EBS Release 12.2.3 / 12.2.4 for Forms Record and Playback

 

Here is the Step By Step guide on how to enable Forms Record and Playback in the latest Oracle E-Bussiness Suite Release 12.2.4. As you may already know that  every Oracle Forms version 6i / 10g / 11g supports  record and playback feature.

When you run Oracle Forms in record mode. Oracle Forms Records everything you do in a plain ASCII text file, specified by you.

 

The following steps shows how to enable record and playback feature in Oracle EBS R12.2.4 Forms and use Data Loader to load the data using this method.

 

 

Step 1:- 

 

Create two user accounts in Oracle Apps and grant the desired responsibilities. Both the users should have the same responsibilities.

 

REC_USER :     For Recording
PLAY_USER:    For Playback

 

To create user accounts login as SYSADMIN and navigate to System Administrator > Security > Users > Define

 

 

After creating the REC_USER, create another user account PLAY_USER as shown below
